VeruTEK is an environmental remediation company that has licensed 4 of Dr. Steven L.  Suib’s patents concerning surfactants. Dr. Steven L. Suib and Dr. Amy Howell have an active grant from VeruTEK. VeruTEK will expand into this area and carry out scale up and manufacturing of these green surfactant materials. Present plans are to move this new effort into the Tech Park as a spinoff company. Other interested companies will also be recruited to GEMS.
