Besides fundamental grants and contracts to the individual PIs involved in the GEMS Center, a variety of other funding sources are being aggressively pursued. These include SBIR, STTR, State, Industrial and Federal programs. For programs associated with VeruTEK, VeruTEK personnel will help to obtain funding from many of these sources. The new UConn Tech Park will provide multiple instruments to promote the GEMS Center.
